1. People are looking for answers. They need to feel they have some purpose in life other than as a slave to their households, jobs and credit cards. The author of this site has found those answers for herself.

2. People are looking for ways to express themselves. Art is one way. Acting is another. Sports is a way. Some people make an art of just living, as partners, parents, grandparents, homemakers, professionals, semi-professionals, laborers. The author found her own creative outlet in writing and is lucky enough to make her living at it.

There's too much information bombarding us constantly now--too many books, too many movies, too many websites, but the truth is there aren't enough GOOD ones. There's always room for more.

However, it's also too easy these days to get swept up in the unending quest of keeping up with it all, trying to be current with all that information AND to remember (and find the time) to eat right, exercise regularly, sleep enough hours a night, spend quality time with those we love and function effectively at whatever type of work we do.
